Abstract:  The main objective of SCM is to provide the right product or service, at the right time and place, to the right customer, at the right cost and quality. To achieve this goal, SCM involves the management of various activities, such as: Sourcing: Identifying and selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts and agreements. Procurement: Planning and managing the purchase of goods and services from suppliers. Production: Managing the conversion of raw materials and components into finished goods. Logistics: Managing the movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers. Inventory: Managing the stock of goods and materials to ensure availability and meet customer demand. Transportation: Planning and managing the movement of goods and materials between locations. Distribution: Planning and managing the delivery of goods and services to customers. Customer service: Managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
